Vivek Agarwal

Vivek is a Principal in focusing on origination, execution and portfolio management of energy transactions in India.

Prior to joining Actis in 2022, Vivek had 11 years of experience in investment banking at Citigroup and Macquarie. At Citigroup, Vivek was a Director, leading Infrastructure, Power & Renewables investment banking coverage and deal execution in India. During his 8-year stint at Citi, he worked on several M&A and equity / debt capital market transactions for power and infrastructure platforms in India. Before Citigroup, Vivek was with Macquarie, where he was part of their infrastructure investment banking division, advising both on principal investments as well as third-party clients across various M&A and capital raising transactions.

Vivek completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India and B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India.
