Tolu Sokenu

Tolu joined Actis in 2015 as a member of the real estate investment team based in Lagos, focusing on West and Central Africa.

In this role his is responsible for origination, execution, portfolio management and exits.

Prior to Actis, Tolu was a Vice President at African Capital Alliance (“ACA”). At ACA Tolu invested in retail, hospitality, residential and office assets in West Africa.

He started his finance career as an Associate in Citigroup investment banking business where he covered North American chemical companies.

Tolu holds a BBA in Information Systems and Analysis from Howard University, a Masters in Science in Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
