Kanwaljeet leads the SPV Accounting & GP co-invest administration teams at Actis. As part of his role, he is responsible for building out a scalable operating model for these functions, which comprises oversight of key external administrators. He also holds a regulatory position in Luxembourg as a Conducting Officer for Fund Administration and Valuations.
During his time at Actis, he has led the Fund Services function for Real Estate & Africa Private Equity, where he was involved in investor reporting, valuations, business analysis, strategic planning and supporting fundraising.
Before embarking on his Actis journey in 2009, Kanwaljeet worked at Fidelity supporting its UK and European business operations, and prior to that, he worked as an auditor at Deloitte.
Kanwaljeet is a CFA Charterholder, a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds an honours degree in Commerce from Delhi University.
