Jitesh joined Actis in 2016. He has worked on several M&A deals, both buy-side and sell-side, including the exits of Ostro and Sprng, and acquisition of (i) 194MW operating solar portfolio from Shapoorji Group, (ii) 500MW operating solar portfolio from Fortum and (iii) 389MW operating solar portfolio from ACME. Most recently Jitesh has been leading investments in C&I projects for Blupine Energy .

Prior to joining Actis, Jitesh worked at JM Financial, a leading Indian investment Bank and Deutsche Bank Group in their Investment Banking Division, where he primarily worked on M&A transactions in the energy space, including advising Tata Power on acquisition of 1.1GW renewable portfolio of Welspun Renewables in India in 2016.

Jitesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 22 in Finals) and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
