Glen joined Actis as Partner in November 2016 to explore new opportunities in Actis’ global markets within the operating infrastructure assets space. These efforts resulted in the creation of the Long Life Infrastructure business which he continues to be a leader of and serves on its investment committee.
Before joining Actis, from 2007 – 2015, Glen was head of the US infrastructure investment team for EQT Partners and was head of EQT’s New York office. He was one of the three founding partners of EQT’s infrastructure business.
Prior to EQT, Glen held positions with Macquarie, GE Capital and ABB.
In 1994-1995, Glen was appointed to start-up and co-head the Project Finance Division at the Export-Import Bank of the United States and was deal team leader for $2 billion of investment in eight emerging market infrastructure projects, including the first privately financed independent power project in Mexico.
Glen began his career as a Production Planning Engineer at Sohio Petroleum Company in California in 1981 and has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University.
