Colin Tang

Colin joined Actis in 2022 as a specialist in Value Creation Group with primary focus on real estate development and asset management in China.

Colin brings more than 18 years of real estate project development and asset management experience in China. Prior to Actis, he was with LOGOS, a logistics fund investment manager, developer and operator, where he led the project development team in East China. Prior to LOGOS, Colin was one of the founding members of another logistics platform under DLJ Real Estate, where he built and managed the asset management and development team for the entire China portfolio.

Colin started his career in Hong Kong with Parsons Brinckerhoff and later Sun Hung Kai Property, a leading Hong Kong developer. After working on several residential and mixed use projects for Sun Hung Kai, Colin then spent four years with two private equity firms as project manager for their residential and hospitality projects in China before moving into the logistics sector in 2014.

Colin holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Philosophy degree with City University of Hong Kong, both in Engineering Management. He is also a CFA charter holder.
