Bernardo Graf

Bernardo is a Director based in Austin, overseeing the execution and monitoring of business plans across portfolio companies and managing all investment activities in the Americas. Bernardo joined Actis as an Associate in 2018.

Bernardo recently played a pivotal role in the acquisition of Enel’s generation portfolio in Peru and the subsequent launch of Orygen. He was instrumental in establishing Valia Energia and its successful issuance of a 144A Reg S project bond in the international capital markets. Additionally, Bernardo was deeply involved in the investment, recapitalisation, and divestment of Saavi Energia.

Before joining Actis, Bernardo served as Vice President at Nexxus Capital, a Mexican private equity firm.

Bernardo holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
