Alex Swirski

Alex is a Principal with the Energy Infrastructure team covering Americas based out of the Sao Paulo office.

Alex joined Actis in 2020 focused on the execution and monitoring of deals ranging from wind generation plants to transmission lines. Most recently, Alex has been supporting the setup of the digital infrastructure initiative.

Prior to joining Actis, Alex worked as an associate for Brookside Equity Partners, a US-based middle-market private equity firm. Alex started his career as a private equity analyst at GP Investment in Sao Paulo primarily focused on telecom infrastructure opportunities. At GP, he supported the investments in BR Towers where he later joined the company as an M&A Manager as an integral part of the team executing the business plan up until the sales to American Towers in 2014.

Alex holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, where he is the recipient of the Henry Ford II Award and BA in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
