Uludag Energy

The Uludag Energy companies provide electricity distribution and retail services to the South Marmara Region of Türkiye, which includes the provinces of Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale and Yalova.

Actis completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in the business from Limak Investments in March 2022. The investment is Actis’ first long life infrastructure investment in Türkiye.

Actis will focus on customer service and investment with the aim of supporting the region to the fullest extent possible over the long term. There will be a particular emphasis on sector trends such as distributed generation, EV charging, digitisation, and other new technologies.

Actis will also implement world-class ESG practices that will improve corporate governance, environmental protection and social engagement.
