Rishika joined Actis in 2012 and works closely with the General Counsel to understand and discharge our regulatory obligations globally. She is responsible for maintaining relationships with regulators, compliance policies and procedures including, but not limited to, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest and risk management.
Rishika started her career in compliance with the UK Regulator, the FCA, and prior to joining Actis she acted as the Compliance Officer and MLRO for GMO where she oversaw all of their European operations.
Rishika holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and also completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London.

Of Indian heritage, born in Mozambique, raised in Portugal, educated in the UK and having also lived in New York and Singapore Rishika speaks multiple languages and encapsulates the firms global nature. Additionally, her work in the regulatory field lends itself to the firm being able to lead with integrity, apply regulatory know-how to other sectors and in bringing diverse perspectives.
