Zambia’s first A-grade light industrial park
York Commercial Park will be an ultra-modern logistics, warehousing and distribution park. It will bring a unique ‘built-for-you’ concept to Lusaka in response to the demand for modern, flexible warehouse space with good access, circulation and loading facilities.
A shortage of A-grade, modern industrial and logistics space in Lusaka and the poor quality of existing stock led Actis to acquire a 44 hectare land parcel in 2013.
York Commercial Park is targeting both local and multinational companies with a unique business model of selling or leasing warehousing and light industrial units, designed and constructed to clients’ own specifications.
The site will be fully serviced with all infrastructure, including roads, paved areas, electricity, water, and the highest standard of security with monitored and controlled 24-hour access.
Actis, along with minority partner Improvon, a leading South African-based industrial developer, will bring to market one of the leading warehouse units in Lusaka.
