Mark Grondel

Mark joined the Actis Private Equity team in Johannesburg in 2019.

Mark is on the investment team of the recently completed Project Peninsula (Octotel and RSAWEB), Actis’ first investment in the fibre subsector of Digital Infrastructure.

Mark is the investment manager of two Neoma fund investments in Libstar and Joint Medical Holdings (Board member).

Mark joined Actis as an Associate Director in the former Abraaj team managing the Neoma Funds, and he started his Private Equity career at Aureos in 2008, a PE fund manager that Abraaj subsequently acquired.

Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town and he is a CFA charterholder.
