“The Terra Solar project embodies what we want to do—build large renewable projects that are critical to the power system.

“It’s a very large-scale project that provides 850MW of power continuously for 12 hours a day, mimicking a mid-merit project.

“We also like to take on construction risk, build these projects, stabilise them along with our partners, and after 5 to 6 years, once the project is built and stabilised, we look to exit them as a part of our investment thesis. This project fits all of those criteria.”
