Ravi Rughani

Ravi joined Actis in 2021. He is an Investment Principal, with a focus on investment structuring, deal origination, execution, and asset management across the real estate sector in Africa. Ravi focusses on investments in residential, data centre, logistics and commercial real estate across Africa, with a primary focus on East, Central and Southern Africa. Ravi also serves on the Board of various entities in Kenya.

Before joining Actis, Ravi was an Investment Associate at Averroes Capital, focusing on mid-market private equity investments in the UK, and prior to that Ravi spent 5 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, where he executed numerous investment banking & debt raising transactions.

Ravi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Private Equity and Finance from London Business School (LBS).  He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in International Finance from HEC Paris, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics, with First Class Honours, from the London School of Economics (LSE).
